Information you give us: when you complete our contact form, request a quote, or email or call us, we collect your name and surname, email address, the delivery address or area you provide, the nature of your enquiry, and any other details you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site, we and our service providers collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see section 08).

We do not collect special personal information (such as race, health or religious beliefs), and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

We process your personal information to:

• –respond to your enquiries and provide the quotes, products and services you request;
• –communicate with you about your enquiry or order;
• –operate, maintain, secure and improve our website;
• –understand how the website is used (analytics); and
• –comply with our legal obligations.

We rely on the following grounds under POPIA: that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a transaction; our legitimate business interests (responding to enquiries and running our website) where these do not override your rights; your consent (where required, for example analytics cookies); and compliance with the law.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers (“operators”) who help us run our business and website, and only to the extent necessary:

• –Email delivery: Resend, to deliver the contact-form emails between you and us.
• –Website hosting: Vercel, which hosts this website and processes server logs.
• –Analytics: Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
• –Address autocomplete: Google Maps Platform, when you type an address into our form.

These operators are required to process your information only on our instructions and to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

Some of our service providers (such as Resend, Google and Vercel) process information on servers outside South Africa. Where your personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by a comparable level of protection, in line with section 72 of POPIA, for example through those providers’ own data-protection commitments and contractual safeguards.

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above. That includes responding to your enquiry, fulfilling any resulting transaction, and meeting our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to function. We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to collect aggregated, statistical information about how visitors use the site.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse, as required by POPIA. The website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

• –be notified that we are collecting your information, and if it has been accessed by an unauthorised person;
• –request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• –request that we correct, update or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date or unlawfully obtained;
• –object, on reasonable grounds, to the processing of your information;
• –withdraw your consent where we rely on it (this will not affect processing already carried out);
• –not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing; and
• –lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (see section 11).
